By using this website, creating an account, initiating contact, or placing an order, agreement to these Terms & Conditions is acknowledged. Please read them carefully before using the website or making a purchase.

About Missus Sedas

Missus Sedas offers premium 100% natural mulberry silk threads, hand-dyed in small batches. Threads are 6-strand divisible silk suitable for cross stitch, embroidery, and needlework.

Products

Every effort is made to describe products accurately. Because threads are hand-dyed in small batches, slight color variations between batches are normal and represent the unique character of the product.

Product availability may be limited and can change at any time. The right to modify, discontinue, restock, or remove products without prior notice is reserved.

Product Photos and Colors

Every effort is made to photograph colors accurately and present products clearly. However, colors may appear differently depending on screen settings, lighting, photography, device calibration, browser settings, and dye batch variations. These differences are not considered defects. Hand-dyed color variation, natural silk characteristics, and differences between batches are inherent to the nature of the product.

Product Use and Care

Threads are intended for cross stitch, embroidery, needlework, and related textile crafts. Customers are responsible for choosing suitable materials, fabrics, needles, care methods, and project use.

Responsibility is not assumed for damage caused by improper use, washing, storage, exposure to sunlight, chemical products, excessive moisture, unsuitable materials, or handling after delivery.

Natural Silk Characteristics

Threads are made from 100% natural mulberry silk. Natural silk has its own texture, softness, shine, and behavior. Minor differences in sheen, handling, twist, or appearance may occur and are not considered defects.

Prices and Currency

Prices are shown in the currency available for the location or selected checkout experience. The right to update prices, product details, shipping rates, promotions, discounts, and availability at any time is reserved. In the event of an obvious pricing, stock, shipping, tax, currency conversion, or technical error, the right to cancel or refund the affected order is reserved.

Depending on the location, prices may be displayed in different currencies. Currency conversion, where available, may be based on store settings, exchange rates, payment provider settings, or checkout configuration. Currency conversion rates, commissions, or additional fees applied by a bank or card issuer are outside control.

Promotions and Discounts

Promotions, discount codes, free shipping offers, bundles, or special offers may be subject to specific conditions. The right to modify, suspend, or end promotions at any time is reserved. Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be applied retroactively.

Orders

After placing an order, an order confirmation will be sent by email. An order is only accepted once payment has been successfully completed and confirmed.

The right to cancel or refund an order is reserved if there is an error in pricing, stock, shipping configuration, tax calculation, payment processing, fraud prevention, product availability, or website operation. The right to refuse or cancel orders that appear fraudulent, abusive, incomplete, or in breach of these Terms & Conditions is also reserved.

Customer Information

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate billing, shipping, and contact information. Responsibility is not assumed for delays, failed deliveries, returned packages, customs issues, or additional costs caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information provided by the customer.

If an error is noticed in order details, please contact hello@missussedas.com as soon as possible. Changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been prepared, packed, shipped, or fulfilled.

Payments and Fraud Prevention

Payment must be completed at checkout using the available payment methods. Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers. Missus Sedas does not store full payment card details. By placing an order, authorization to use the selected payment method is confirmed.

Orders may be subject to fraud prevention checks. Orders may be canceled or refunded if payment cannot be verified, if fraud is suspected, or if required information is incomplete or inconsistent.

Shipping and Customs

Shipping options, costs, and delivery estimates are shown at checkout before payment. Current standard shipping rates are:

  • Spain: €6.00
  • Europe and United Kingdom: €8.00–€10.00 (depending on destination)
  • United States: €12.00 equivalent (shown in USD at checkout)
  • Selected international destinations: €12.00

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by customs, postal delays, holidays, local carriers, weather, strikes, supply disruptions, or circumstances outside control.

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, handling charges, carrier fees, or other charges applied by the destination country, carrier, customs authority, postal service, or local authorities.

  • For orders shipped to the United States: Export-related fees included in the shipping setup are handled at checkout. Any additional charges not specified at checkout are the responsibility of the customer.
  • For all other international destinations: Customs duties, import taxes, VAT, handling charges, carrier fees, or other local charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Responsibility is not assumed for delays caused by customs procedures or local import requirements.

Delivery Issues

If an order appears delayed, please contact hello@missussedas.com for assistance in reviewing the available tracking information. Shipping carriers may require additional time before a package can be officially considered lost. Responsibility is not assumed for delays caused by incorrect addresses, customs processing, local postal services, carriers, holidays, weather, strikes, or events outside control.

Incorrect, Incomplete, or Refused Deliveries

Customers are responsible for entering complete and accurate shipping information at checkout. If a package is returned to Missus Sedas because of an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal, non-payment of local fees, or failure to collect the package, an option to reship the order at the customer’s expense or a refund for eligible items (excluding original shipping costs and non-recoverable fees) may be provided.

Risk of Loss

Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer when the order is delivered to the shipping address provided, unless otherwise required by applicable law. If tracking shows that a package has been delivered but cannot be located, please contact the carrier directly and then contact hello@missussedas.com for assistance in reviewing the available information.

Returns, Refunds, and Right of Withdrawal

Returns and refunds are handled according to the Returns & Refunds Policy. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any statutory consumer rights that may apply.

Where applicable under European Union law, consumers may have a legal right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the order. To exercise this right, please contact hello@missussedas.com. Returned items must be unused, unopened, and in their original condition unless otherwise required by law.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If an order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact hello@missussedas.com within 7 days of delivery. Please include the order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the item and packaging. The issue will be reviewed to offer an appropriate solution depending on the situation and product availability.

Customer Accounts

Customers may create an account to view orders, manage details, and access available store features. Account holders are responsible for keeping login information secure. Please initiate contact if unauthorized access is suspected. The right to suspend or close accounts that are misused, fraudulent, abusive, or in breach of these Terms & Conditions is reserved.

Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, product names, images, graphics, branding, logo, color names, photography, product descriptions, page layouts, and design elements, belongs to Missus Sedas unless otherwise stated.

Copying, reproducing, distributing, modifying, republishing, selling, or using Missus Sedas content, images, product descriptions, or visual identity for commercial purposes without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

User Content and Reviews

If reviews, comments, photos, testimonials, or messages are submitted, confirmation that the content is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe the rights of others is required. Submitting content allows Missus Sedas to use, display, reproduce, and share that content for store, customer service, promotional, or business purposes, unless stated otherwise in writing.
